STS first performance in 2003

Inception in 2003.

STS’ very first performance was at a luncheon for the Seroptimists who presented a gift to Linwood. The restaurant was That’s Amore in Columbia. Notice that our signature red and black was not set in stone yet. Our sound system was a karaoke machine. There were no risers. That’s Cheryl and Sarah on the left. The seated elderly woman looking up is Jeanne Simons, Linwood’s founder, two years prior to her passing.

Performance at Rosborough Theater 2004

Rosbourogh Theater. We performed in front of our largest audience yet. We had guest performers join us and, as you can see, we were in formal attire. Our founding members are in this photo. In addition to Cathy, our beloved Paula Rehr (far left) can be seen. Paula is the one who egged Cathy on in the hot tub to put together and direct STS.
